501(c)3 Organizations, Public Festivals and Events

We are happy to provide state-wide broadcast television, web, and “on demand” support for bonafide 501(c)3 organizations*, public festivals and events taking place on Hawaii Island. While television promotion for non-profit events is typically “not budgeted” by event planners due to cost threshholds, KBR is amenable to partial media trades (in lieu of full cash sponsorship purchases) in order to give your organization a level of exposure commensurate to commercial clients.
Planning for a media trade agreement should commence with sufficient time (at least 2 months in advance of event), in order for all parties to maximize their promotional efforts. Specifically, a fair market media trade (whereby KBR will “trade” cash value) may entail:

VALUE OFFERED BY KBR
1. Feature segment on statewide television (base retail value of $1,500)
2. Commercial spot on series
3. Inclusion of your event/activity in our HAWAII ISLAND CALENDAR OF EVENTS broadcast on TV, on the web, and soon in key Hawaii Island ports of entry.
3. Web promotion on www.kamaainabackroads.com

VALUE OFFERED BY 501(c)3 ORG, PUBLIC FESTIVAL, EVENT
1. Inclusion of KBR in all advertising promoting your event, including posters, brochures, programs, etc.
2. Signage on sight at event
3. On-site KBR publicity, including emceeing, onsite booth at events, the option to distribute KBR collateral material at public events
4. “Sponsorship” trades

Events that do not offer commensurate promotional value to KBR will not be considered for non-cash promotion.

*To qualify for this level of promotion with KBR, your organization need not be a 501(c)3 non-profit, but must be not-for-private-profit in its nature.
