When I was a nurse I discovered the way to alleviate my arthritis pain. And it was not through medicine but by traditional treatment. I could eliminate the disease from my body by making few changes in my diet plan.

Osteoarthritis is a common type of arthritis and is an affliction of the joint cartilage and the bones. This happens due to wear and tear which happens over a period of time and the reason for such cause is a mystery to medical science. Arthritis has different facets; rheumatoid, psoriatic, congenial to name the major few. Congenial arthritis is an ailment such as congenital ankylosing spondilitis, etc. During the arthritis attack the joints are swollen, stiff and cause much pain to the patient.

Cartilage is a strong tissue that attaches the ends of joint bones. In Osteoarthritis the cartilage gets worn out and consequently the bones touch each other which generate tremendous pain and make a person immovable. Hence after learning about the cure process I changed my diet to an Arthritis diet and started eating raw foods, plant and living, which are uncooked. I ate everything from vegetables, fruits to nuts and pulses. I felt great change in the symptoms within a couple of weeks. And almost after eight years I have been complexly relieved from the painful arthritis disease. Many patients say that hot water with slice of ginger is good for the treatment.

You can also try the massage therapy on the stiff fingers and joints with coconut oil at least twice a day. It is also prudent to avoid gluten food contents because it could be allergic to some people. Gluten foods are wheat, barley and rye and eliminating these ingredients can bring relief to your pain and inflammation. Other products which assist inflammation are coffee or substances having caffeine content, salt, refined sugar, dairy products that contain fat, alcohol, processed or packaged foods, etc.

Some people try hot water mixed with raw farm honey and apple cider to prevent arthritis attack. On the other hand there are divergent opinions about glucosamine and chondroitin regarding its alleviating property. There are few supplements which is told to relieve the arthritis pain. But there is no conclusive evidence of its properties and effect on arthritis joint pain and inflammation condition.

Doing few exercise to keep you limbs and joints moving is always better. This provides flexibility and reduces pain to some extent, initially. There are many stories about the cure of arthritis but nothing is determined to be authentic. However, stretching and aerobics, if possible will provide great relief to the arthritis patient. Arthritis diet with proper exercises will definitely help in reducing weight and alleviating the painful conditions.
